Ten Tips for Making Money Online
By Bridgitte Williams
Prepare to learn and get real facts about online moneymaking.
1. Make sure that the program you join is a reliable one. This means checking to see if the company has been in business at least a year or longer. See if they have a better business rating, been paying, been a paid list or a paying program seal of approval or certification. These are awarded and displayed on the pages of the website of the business. If the business has them, you will know. They will want you to know. This way, at least you know they have a record of paying.
2. Start with programs that are free to join and promise to pay you, with no money investment required. This will insure that you will make money without losing any of yours. You can start by joining free get paid to read email programs and surveys. You will quickly learn which programs pay and which ones do not. These sites do not give out your personal information or email address. They are bound by law not to do so.
3. Look for websites that offer free advertising. These are sites and search engines that will advertise your personal or business website free. You submit your website link. It is that easy. If you do not have a website yet, be sure and create one, after you find a few good programs that have made you some money. Many websites offer you a free web page that is easy to make and promote. Make a site and keep it simple. On your web page, include the links to the sites of your favorite programs. This will be your link given to you by the program to promote the program. This will make you more money with less work, since you get a percentage of the money others make if they join your program under you. Submit your website link to all of the free submission sites you can find. You can post the site as a classified ad, on message boards, in forums and write articles about your site to submit to article sites. There are many free forms of advertising to be found online. They are well worth it.
4. Make a simple business card with the name of your website and the link to it. You can give these out to the many people you know and to the ones that you meet. Some businesses even have a free place to post or leave your business card, especially if you are already a good customer of theirs. You can print out these business cards on your own computer for almost no cost. This is your home business. It can be as profitable as you make it.
5. You can have a few shirts made up to promote your website. Give them to anyone you know that visits malls, restaurants, Wal-Mart, and very populated areas. Kids are great for this. They love amusement parks and like wearing unique clothes. You may want to wait to do this until you make some money from your program and have a small amount to invest in advertising.
6. Get a PayPal account. It is easy to do and well worth it. Most reputable sites will pay you by PayPal. You will receive your money easier and faster. The only information you have to give to the one who is paying you is an email address.
7. Visit some of the get paid, been paid and are paid to forums online. Read what programs people like and they say are paying them. This can give you an idea of what the best paying programs are.
8. Be aware that some programs do not allow AOL members to join. It usually is noted on the site. Most programs do allow AOL members to join.
9. Making money online takes some time. Any person that tells you any different is probably not telling the whole truth.
10. Realize that any program that is free to join and actually pays you is a rare gem in an online world full of frauds.
